Austria has a highly vibrant jazz and world music scene. To give more public attention to creative musicians, the Austrian Music Council (ÖMR), together with mica-music austria, the Ö1 Jazz editorial team, the IG World Music, and Porgy & Bess were able to achieve a reestablishment of an Austrian Jazz Award.
Submission for Artists
Entry in the "Jazz and Global Music Library in Austria since 2022" remains open. Please fill out the form electronically to submit your projects.

If you are professionally involved in the style field of Jazz/improvised music/World Music in Austria – as a journalist, as an organizer, as a musician, as a teacher, as a label owner/producer, as a booker, as a label/producer, as a sound engineer, etc. – we invite you to participate in the nomination process and contribute your expertise.
