Project Description
Alongside numerous intercultural collaborations, trombonist WERNER PUNTIGAM also pursues several purely European projects, such as his duo with drummer GEORG WILBERTZ. In their nonverbal dialogues of freely improvised chamber music, sounds, musical fragments, and instrumental sound poems coalesce into an open narrative of the moment. This is also evident in the 12 miniatures (combined with 12 other tracks by the PUNTIGAM-KELLER duo) on their album 'Und Ja, And Yes', released on ELLIOTT SHARP's label 'zOaR'. They present their live concerts not only on jazz stages but also in galleries, museums, and unconventional venues, occasionally incorporating interdisciplinary elements such as contemporary dance, experimental films, or contemporary literature.
