Projekt Beschreibung
The Família Pádua is a music group founded 16 years ago by the musicians Antônio de Pádua (trumpet, cavaquinho and 7-string guitar), his wife Roberta Karin (vocals, percussion), their son João Vítor (flute) and their eldest son Matheus Jardim (drummer), together with other guest musicians. The focus of the family's work is on the dissemination of various genres of Brazilian popular music, always with a focus on their own compositions. These are rooted in their essence in Brazilian folk culture, but bring with them a modern, universal and contemporary language. The lively concerts, which show the versatility and thus the essence of Brazilian music and thus also the rich culture of the country, are what the group offers the audience with great pleasure. The Família Pádua has been living and working in Vienna since 2019 and has already given numerous concerts both in Austria and abroad. The group's passion lies in balancing modernity and tradition, sophistication and simplicity, and inspiring people in a very special way. Brazil is a multicultural country that harbours a multitude of rhythms through its history and makes a musical "journey" possible. All this is part of Família Pádua's repertoire and offers the audience an interactive, surprising and culturally enriching experience that shows that integration, art and fun can go hand in hand.
