With its distinctive blend of violin, cello, and an electric microtonal keyboard with 31 keys per octave, the Vienna-based Trio Terrea creates a fresh musical perspective that reaches beyond conventional boundaries. Microtonality becomes a space of encounter between different musical disciplines — a realm where tradition and the present come into direct dialogue. Trio Terrea has already been invited to renowned venues and festivals in Austria and abroad, including the Morgenland Festival. Its music moves fluidly between jazz, fusion, traditional influences, and contemporary idioms, bringing this diversity together into a cohesive whole.
