Born in Vöcklabruck, Austria, in 1991, Lisa Hofmaninger is an acclaimed jazz musician, composer, and educator who has established herself as a dynamic and innovative artist in the world of jazz and improvised music. Known for her work on the soprano saxophone and bass clarinet, she is a versatile performer focused on her current projects, composition, and education. Hofmaninger's musical journey began with studies in jazz saxophone at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz and at the Pôle Supérieur Paris-Boulogne Billancourt in Paris, where she graduated with distinction in 2017. Her career is defined by a constant pursuit of new sounds and interdisciplinary projects, exploring the boundaries between composition and free improvisation. Hofmaninger is a sought-after musician.
