Project Description

Andreas Erd is an austrian guitarist, composer and guitar teacher based in Vienna, Austria. He is currently writing, producing, recording and mixing for his trio HAARP as well as his solo project. He is also a member of Origina1Nerd, Christoph Cech’s Jazz Orchestra Project and Nouvelle Cuisine Big Band. Additionally, he worked and played with artists such as Martin Valihora, Juraj Griglak, David Hodek, Michal Wierzgon, Martin Kocian, Jeff Bodreaux, Hubert Tubbs, Rafael Trujillo and Abel Maton Nagy. Erd currently teaches electric guitar at the three state music schools in Upper Austria. Erd attended numerous workshops/masterclasses with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Greg Howe, Steve Vai and Aydin Esen. In 2012, Andreas has been rewarded with the Robert Johnson Guitar Award in Hamburg, Germany.
