Project Description
Gathered around the Viennese keyboarder, emeritus jurist, retired lawyer, and great-grandson of Schrammel, Dr. Klaus-Peter Schrammel (83) - are language and jazz educator Professor Mag. Eduard Linshalm (80) on bass and the percussionist, Dr. Silvester “Jakschi” Schröger (79), to give his “retirement from retirement” a sense of purpose grounded in the philosophy of entertainment. Classic in every respect—thus original in many ways. Starting from the “Breviary of Jazz,” its premises are musically presented and well-founded, between Schrammeln and Schrammel, with regard to their validity today and their habitat in Vienna. The scholasticism of jazz, so to speak, encompassing the totality of knowledge gained over 242 years of life, built on constant curiosity and tradition. With humor.
