Project Description
Anna Buchegger creates a distinctive transcultural sound language shaped by Alpine tradition and contemporary global influences. Salzburg dialect meets amapiano-inflected grooves, electronic textures and an open song form in which yodeling becomes an improvisational mode of expression in live performance. Between folk heritage and the present, she crafts a border-crossing sound that does not preserve fixed notions of home, but reimagines origin, identity and belonging with feminist attitude, self-irony and an avant-garde sensibility.
