Vienna JazzTett
In the final concert of the master's program, Joe Weichinger, Markus Dutka and Timm Reinhardt successfully played together with Berthold Cvach and Life as Vienna JazzTett at the Vienna Jazz & Music Club Porgy & Bess for the first time in June 2021. The chemistry was right and the desire arose to continue working together. The album "In The Beginnin'" is the documentation of this good mood.
The saxophone solos are impressive and Joe Weichinger fully explores the range of his instrument. Markus Dutka on bass is the stable basis of the band, but above all a sensitive and expressive soloist. Timm Reinhardt on drums brings in the time as well as the rhythmic and dynamic precision. Composer and keyboarder Berthold Cvach completes the combo.
