FREEMOTION is an open musical play ground for jazz compositions without stylistic limitations. Both with her compositions and with freely improvised passages, the internationally performing saxophonist and her agile band colleagues convey vivid musical images through intense dynamic interplay. The melodious, multi-faceted compositions contain a variety of groove creations that are sometimes inspired by African music or music from the Middle East and the Caucasus - and the band always likes to swing away. The ensemble's CD "Taking Off" (with Gerhard Graml on bass) has received great acclaim beyond Austria's borders.
