CD title: Soul Searching
Released: July 2022 by ATS Records
This CD was recorded at the ORF Studio in Vienna and has received great praise worldwide, with excellent reviews from England, Belgium, Poland, China, Japan, Austria and Germany. The CD was presented at the renowned jazz club Porgy & Bess in Vienna and many subsequent concerts were sold out; A total of sixteen concerts were played.
The project is a collaboration with San Diego musician Dave Scott, who arranged four pieces for the CD. American jazz trumpeter Jim Rotondi arranged the entire project. The CD presents a retro style with a blue note touch from the 70s and 80s, enriched with a distinctive, voluminous jazz voice and groovy arrangements. In addition to Dave Scott's four compositions, I contributed two of my own pieces.
