Anja Om Plus is a project by Vienna-based musician Anja Obermayer. Their music can best be described as complex polyphonic chamber pop. Impressive polyphony bridges the gap between vocal improvisation, modern art song and narrative pop songs. Questioning herself, Obermayer goes on a lyrical search for the momentary, egocentric truth. This demanding music and its content is carried by an exquisite ensemble consisting of the following musicians: Anja Obermayer (voc, p, guit) Lucia Leena (voc), Ursula Reicher, (voc, p, Floor Tom) Mira Perusich (voc, Floor Tom), Veronika Sterrer (voc, Synth bass) and Ricarda Oberneder(voc. Her debut album “Egocentric Vision” was released in May 2022. The band is currently working with David Furrer on their second studio album, which will be released in 2025.
