Mahan Mirarab's music speaks an honest language. He fuses European chamber music with contemporary jazz, creating a unique interpretation of Iranian classical music. As a representative of a new generation of migrant musicians in Europe, he expands the sonic boundaries of the music industry and advocates for more diversity and quality. His goal is to present Middle Eastern cultures and jazz in a new narrative. His compositions demonstrate a rich musical vocabulary and deep knowledge in various styles. For him, jazz is not just music, but a philosophy that embodies identity and solidarity. As a migrant in Europe, he brings strong influences from his cultural background and, through the philosophy of jazz, finds his own voice to transcend traditional conventions.
