Projekt Beschreibung
The LEKO Sextet, led by Lena Kovalchuk, brings together the cultural diversity of its members from Ukraine, Slovakia, and Croatia. Founded in November 2023 by students of the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, the ensemble is dedicated to jazz with an innovative approach. Their vibrant arrangements highlight the unique sounds of each musician. A special highlight is a program featuring Ukrainian folk music in custom arrangements. This project showcases the creative fusion of various musical traditions and promises an impressive listening experience.
