BELOFOUR Accordion Improvisation Quartet Founded in 2014 on the occasion of a commissioned work for the International Vienna Accordion Festival, BELOFOUR, as the first Viennese accordion boy group, sees itself artistically committed to both contemporaneity and entertainment. With energy and zest for life, the gentlemen let their diverse biographies, musical preferences, and their pronounced enriching diversity flow into one another, celebrating with virtuosity and a love for sound the material of their respective interests, driven by an unbridled joy in being different from one another. Small vocal passages in between are always statements, stylistic devices, and entertaining variations at the same time. A small thistle in the face is better than a big one.
