Meretrio stands as a remarkable embodiment of a steadfast musical ensemble. Since their formation in 2004, the band has continuously captivated their audience with their commitment to creating innovative musical paths. Over the years, they have produced ten different albums, each exploring the intricate musical connection shared by these three Brazilian musicians.
In 2024, Meretrio will reach an important milestone by releasing their 11th album while simultaneously celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band. The new album promises to present original compositions inspired by Afro-Brazilian music traditions, skillfully interwoven with elements of chamber music and jazz.
