Projekt Beschreibung
The Thomas Quendler Trio consists of Thomas Quendler on piano, Jonas Kocnik on drums and Jakob Gönitzer on bass. We play our own compositions as well as arrangements of jazz standards. The music is inspired by our role models. However, in order to give the music an authentic and fresh interpretation, we try to add our personal touch to the pieces, which can be classified as modern jazz mixed with rock elements. Since musicality is the focus, complex elements such as odd meters and rhythmic shifts are interpreted as musically as possible and our aim is to reach a wide audience through our music and to share our joy of jazz at concerts. Our debut CD “Awaking” is expected to be released in early 2025.
