Album: New Doors

On his latest album “New Doors”, the internationally acclaimed Viennese jazz violinist Rudi Berger brings together the three worlds that have profoundly shaped him since his early beginnings. The Vienna–Brazil–New York axis has introduced the virtuoso to a wide range of musical companions, including the outstanding Brazilian guitarist Toninho Horta. Together with many others, he supports Rudi Berger on original compositions such as “I Remember Chick,” “Other Side,” “New Doors,” and “Walk On Joe,” as well as on well-known hits like “Mercy, Mercy, Mercy,” “Brigas Nunca Mais,” and “Georgia On My Mind,” delivering grooving rhythms, swinging harmonies, unpretentious virtuosity, and the utmost joy of playing.
