Album: Ascension

The follow-up to their debut album Tres Caballeros (2024) is playful and elegant, featuring refined arrangements and a subtle sense of humor. Since forming in 2022, Faulhammer, Aufmesser, and Kammerer have developed a distinctive group sound that blends influences from John Scofield and Bill Frisell with their own collective intuition. Faulhammer’s ten original compositions range from blues-inflected grooves to hints of gypsy jazz. Shaped by spontaneous interaction, the music flows naturally, creating an intimate, warm atmosphere marked by nuance, lyricism, and understated sensuality.
