Album: Fish & Fowl

The idea behind “F & F” is the meeting of improvised music and digital post-production plus electronics. The musicians recorded live improvisations, explored different moods and gave them space. This music was reworked over months of work. In the next process, electronic sounds were generated from the acoustic recordings, others were reconstructed and the music was partially reassembled. In this way we achieved a form of “comprovisation” in which, on the one hand, spontaneity and freshness are retained and, on the other hand, form and development drive the pieces forward. The electronics take the songs to a new level and create cinematic atmospheres that are best enjoyed with your eyes closed and curious ears!
