Album: Faces of Night

The album “Faces of Night” was released in September 2025 on the renowned label ACT. In addition to original compositions by David Helbock and Julia Hofer, it features exciting interpretations of Schumann, Prince, Eddie Harris, Thelonious Monk and G.I. Gurdjieff. England's important newspaper The Times (UK) selected it among the “Best Albums 2025”. It has received widespread international acclaim from Japan to the USA, including “One of the best new albums in a long time” (Jazzwise, UK) and “playful, curious & experimental” (3sat Kulturzeit). Furthermore, three major European jazz voices are featured as guests: Veronika Harcsa (vocals), Lorenz Raab (flugelhorn) & Mahan Mirarab (guitar). The album was presented at around 100 concerts across Europe.
