Album: Ploy

PLOY defies categorization into a single genre, preferring artistic and creative freedom over a culture of flawless, "clean" production. Max Plattner draws on elements of jazz, electronic, new music, rock and hip-hop to create an emotionally charged sound that leaves plenty of room for improvisational moments. The boundaries of rhythm and harmony are consciously explored and atmospheric spaces are created. This marks a break with the musical standards of recent years. At a time when more and more artists are trying to conform to a certain genre or sound, Plattner's new album is an example of artistic freedom and individuality.
