Album: The Sweetness of Finitude

Pianist Verena Zeiner and drummer Ziv Ravitz dedicate the music of their first duo album to exploring questions of finitude. What possibilities open up when something comes to an end? How can limitations give rise to something new? It is a meeting of two musicians from very different cultural backgrounds and with very individual personal life stories, but also many commonalities, such as their passion for improvised music and their approach to creating music. Zeiner's compositions are the foundation of the album and form the framework for a lively and diverse musical dialogue, with plenty of space for improvisation and collaborative musical creation.
