Album: Cartesian Echoes

Cartesian Echoes is a collaborative recording by Austrian tenor saxophonist Lukas Gabric and Polish pianist and sound artist Łukasz Łagocki. Blending spontaneous improvisation with composed interludes, the album explores the relationship between structure and freedom, drawing inspiration from René Descartes' concept of human passions and Fibonacci proportions. Through an intimate dialogue of saxophone, Fender Rhodes, and synthesizers, the recording creates a unique sound world that moves fluidly between jazz, contemporary music, and experimental improvisation.
