Album: Vienna Chamber Diaries plus Strings

On the new album the Vienna Chamber Diaries ensemble - expanded with a string orchestra - translates their chamber musical virtues into orchestral dimensions. Triggered by an invitation from Vienna Konzerthaus, the creation of this album spans a period of 3 years, with many unexpected turns and obstacles such as Covid delays. The music that emerged tells a story of heartship, dedication, trust and treasured friendships. It is brought to life by a stellar line-up with lots of expertise, exceptional playing. The main body of the album are four large scale orchestral compositions, intertwined with a selection of simple tunes to lighten up the mood, spotlight all wonderful players, and preserve the chamber music idea of the ensemble.
