Transparent is an almost exclusively instrumental offering, driven by complex time signatures, delicate groove and a drive for melody; global influences come into play throughout, evocative of Bela Fleck or Chick Corea in moments. It’s confident in both concept and musical execution. Each track carries its own narrative, representing a challenge or stage of the transformation process. It’s both delicate and passionate in its allyship.
