Album: Absence

This band is a mixture of highly respected and and known artists from Graz. Konstantinos Bourvaris plays the guitar, Anil Bilgen the piano, Tobias Melcher the double bass and Andreas Reisenhofer the drums and at last Armin Jambor the tenor saxophone and woodwinds, who plays with refined taste and remarkable virtuosity. The band has recorded nine pieces. The album consists not only of their own compositions, but also songs by famous composers such as Burt Bacharach, Michel Legrand and Randy Newman, which have been interpreted in a jazz fashion. In addition to these new interpretations, the original compositions offer a lyrical and unique perspective that still represents the sound of modern jazz.
