Like leaves carried away by a gust of wind, the nine tracks on the album "Windfliegen" (alessa records, 2026) by Muñoz Camarero and Schuberth have different origins, yet are mysteriously linked by a shared flow. Their musical journey oscillates between the qualities of a breeze and a tornado – from soothing, gentle music to unsettling gusts of wind. The musicians battle against adverse conditions, harnessing their uncertainties productively to create multi-layered musical textures. Through active mutual listening and giving each other space, they create an open density – like a powerful wind current that simultaneously maintains an atmospheric balance.
