Album: Sirens

A new beginning is not a break, but a conscious change of direction. For the Lucerne-based collective Phraim, Sirens marks a step towards a new sonic identity following the internationally acclaimed album Hysteria. With the shift from piano to guitar and the addition of Mareille Merck, the band expands its sonic palette and continues to develop its sound. The compositions emerge collectively, moving between atmospheric openness, powerful interplay, and quieter moments. Thematically, Sirens explores seduction and resistance, dependence and self-determination, intimacy and distance. Inspired by the myth of the Sirens, the album translates these ambiguities into a multifaceted contemporary musical language.
