Album: HERITAGE

"Heritage" is a contemporary chamber music album that combines classical composition techniques with Mediterranean timbres, modal nuances, poetic melody, and vibrant rhythms. This project explores cultural identity as a living continuum, drawing from personal origins, regional soundscapes, and the aesthetics of modern chamber music. It navigates the fluid space between traditional Cretan music, contemporary composition, jazz, and free improvisation. The eight compositions honor the deep roots of Mediterranean aesthetics while reimagining them through the harmonic sophistication of jazz and the textural richness of contemporary chamber music, guiding the listener on a journey of vivid imagery and emotion.
