During the observation period, Hamel | Plattner presented their live performance in six concerts in Austria and Germany. The performances took place as part of BAMM (Berlin Artist & Musician Meetings), at Zemin Berlin, Smaragd Linz, KVR Vienna, Rockhouse Salzburg and the Linz Jazznites at ABU. The concerts were based on fully improvised electroacoustic snapshots, combining clarinet, drums, live sampling, electronic processing and spatial feedback processes into a musical form emerging anew each time. The performances provided a framework to further deepen the project’s open structure and explore the interaction between acoustic playing, electronics and space in different live situations.
