"The EingangQuintet was formed in 2022 around the bassist and composer Julian Eingang in the culturally rich city of Vienna. The musicians of the quintet share a common quest for memorable melodies, infectious grooves, and improvisational bursts -- within and beyond the boundaries of modern jazz. The internationally composed ensemble develops its 'sound journeys' collectively in a multifaceted creative process. After successful tours through Austria (Zwe, Schlachthof, Smaragd, Jazzit...) and Germany (Blue Note Dresden, B-Flat Berlin, Tante Betty Nürnberg, Kulturpalast Hannover etc..) the EingangQuintet will present its debut album in spring 2025."
