With their third trio album, “In Her Footsteps,” and its accompanying release tour, the Martin Listabarth Trio was once again active across Europe. Over the past year, the trio performed in Austria, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Croatia and Turkey, including at Transilvania Jazz Festival, Ankara Music Festival, Opus Jazz Club Budapest and MuTh Vienna. For Martin Listabarth, Gidi Kalchhauser and Sebastian Simsa, the trio is their central shared project, shaped by intensive concert activity and a shared artistic vision. Their live performances combine precise compositions with spontaneous interaction, memorable melodies and infectious energy. Through musical storytelling, the trio also reaches audiences beyond the traditional jazz bubble.
