Newcomer: Moritz Gamper

Moritz Gamper, born 1994 in Merano and based in Vienna for the past decade, is a singer-songwriter, guitarist and cultural curator. He writes all his own material, moving between blues, jazz, folk and chanson in four languages: English, South Tyrolean dialect, French and Italian. In 2024 he represented Austria at the European Blues Challenge. Following his debut "Sketches of Imagination & Beyond", his second album "Dressed in Edelweiss" was released in May 2026 on Blind Rope Records. On stage he performs solo, as a duo or with a full band — a distinctive voice, acoustic instruments, and a sound allowed to stay raw and unpolished. Alongside his music he develops his own event formats, among them the concert series "A Night in Blues" and the Terra Culta film festival.
