Newcomer: Xaver E. Schutti

Xaver Schutti (*2007) studies jazz trumpet at the Mozarteum. In 2019 and 2021 he was invited to the MM Jazzfestival by Marianne Mendt, in 2022 he played at Osterfestival Tirol, in 2023 at Klangspuren Schwaz. Participation in various major projects, including the konsJAZZ orchestra ("Miles&Gil" Orchestral Work, "Epitaph" by Charles Mingus conducted by Titus Engel), member of the Sam Siefert Ensemble Project and Honeypie. Full Tuition of Berklee College (Aspire Performance Program 2023), Young Mastering Program of the jazz festival "Outreach". Finalist at Phono Echoes 2023 and Sounding Visions Award of the IGNM 2024. With his current project he has already been a guest at festivals, most recently Klangfarben Kufstein, noiz//elektrorauschen, Klangspuren Schwaz, Outreach Festival, Treibhaus.
