Newcomer: Daniela Gschirtz

Daniela Gschirtz, born in Burgenland, has been causing a stir in the Linz and Vienna music scene since 2019 as a member of the band MAMMA FATALE. The band was awarded the Hubert von Goisern Cultural Prize in 2021 and won the Linz SOUNDS Prize in 2020. In 2023 she released her first EP "Water For My Plants" as DARA WINTER. In this collection of her own songs, she moves energetically and sensitively in the field of contemporary pop and pop rock. The EP sheds light on growing up, interpersonal relationships, emotional female power and gentle self-determination. She is currently working on her first German-language album as an artist in residence in Paliano (IT).
