Anna Lang was born in Salzburg and grew up in a family of artists in Altmünster am Traunsee. Anna is a graduate of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (piano), the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (cello) and the A. Bruckner Private University (jazz). In numerous formations such as the Beyond Classic Projects, the music education project Die Konzertmaus or the award-winning duo Sinfonia de Carnaval with Alois Eberl, Anna Lang is not only a versatile cellist but also a conductor and composer. With Sinfonia de Carnaval, Anna Lang and Alois Eberl were selected as one of the top five bands in the jazz category for the “New Austrian Sound Of Music Program 2018/19” and one of the seven bands honoured by FOCUS ACT 2019.
