Newcomer: Elena Schäfer

Elena Schäfer is a Vienna-based singer-songwriter, composer, and jazz vocalist. Her music blends acoustic songwriting with jazz elements and subtle classical influences to create an intimate and atmospheric sound. In April of this year, she released her debut album, "Where I Go," on Hideout Records, showcasing her emotionally rich and distinctive artistic style. She currently performs, primarily in Austria, in various ensembles ranging from reggae bands to acoustic guitar duos. Piano and guitar playing also play a central role in her musical work. After completing her studies at the MUK Vienna, she will continue her studies at the Jazzcampus Basel starting September 26.
