Newcomer: Alexandra Ivanova

Alexandra Ivanova is an Austrian pianist and composer with Bulgarian roots. She is mainly self-taught in jazz, besides her studies (FR, EN), and with her international jazz trios before finding a mentor in Tarek Yamani. Her debut album, “Beauty in Chaos,” was released with her trio on DoubleMoon Rec. as part of the “Jazz thing Next Generation” series and brought her to Java Jazz Festival 2026, Montreux Jazz Festival China 2026, jazzahead Showcase, Cairo Jazz Festival, Havana Jazz Festival, PENG Festival. As a soloist, she performed in 2025 at l’Esprit du Piano in Bordeaux, Austrian Embassy, Jakarta, and at residencies in Banff (Canada), Iceland, and Havana. Collaborations with Mazen Lawand, Magix Sax Quartet (Santiago de Cuba), Sunny Kim, Mahan Mirarab, Sin Rong (Bali)
