In the 2025/26 season, the Jazzorchester Vorarlberg (JOV) celebrates its 20th anniversary. Since its founding under the artistic direction of Martin Eberle, the ensemble has developed into one of the country’s most exciting and distinctive large jazz ensembles through numerous collaborations, including with Vincent Pongracz, Renee Benson, 5/8erl in Ehr’n, Philip Yaeger, Clemens Wenger, Fatima Spar, Peter Herbert, Andreas Schreiber, Maria Hofstätter, Johannes Berauer, Orges Toce, Uri Caine, Phoebe Violet, Gerd Hermann Ortler and the Symphonieorchester Vorarlberg. Stylistically fearless and sonically adventurous, the JOV draws its strength from deep roots in Austria’s rich and evolving music scene.
