Founded in 2025 in the course of his masters program, the ensemble around Max Kreuzer expresses his personal view on the world of Jazz.
Kreuzer's compositions are firmly rooted in tradition, yet they open space for exploration and spontaneity. Within this framework, his ensemble moves freely, shaping the music in the moment while remaining connected to the underlying melodic and harmonic ideas.
Around the rhythm section, saxophone, violin and vocals create a diverse sound mixing avantgarde, chamber music and poetry - in between individuality and collective unity.
