Album: Notes from the Road

"Notes from the Road" is a musical diary by Austrian bass player and composer Max Kreuzer. Shaped by encounters, places and impressions gathered while travelling, the album reflects a journey where different cultural influences meet within the language of jazz. The eight original compositions are inspired by Charles Mingus, scandinavian jazz and the aesthetics of ECM, as well as melting influences of alpine folk music with free jazz.
