David Helbock

David Helbock's passion project brings together the "young lions" of Austrian jazz and one of the most sought-after sidemen in the international jazz scene of the past decades - Peter Madsen. The result is a captivating display of percussion, groove, and an impressive array of keyboard instruments. Their performance features an eclectic mix of styles, drawing inspiration from the jazz-rock era of the 70s and incorporating elements of traditional, Latin, and modern jazz. The program is composed primarily of original pieces by the band members, with the addition of two covers by two of Austria's most illustrious composers: Joe Zawinul and W.A. Mozart. Additionally, the album features guest appearances from five of the most renowned jazz musicians of our time.
