Gina Schwarz & Multiphonics 8

As an Austrian jazz bassist, composer and arranger, I was particularly pleased to be invited as Composer in Residence 2020 & 2021 at the Multiphonics Festival in Cologne. Due to the great success at the first concerts, there was immediate demand for a recording of my new music. This is how the album Gina Schwarz & Multiphonics 8 “Way to Blue” was created in 2021, which was released in 2022 and was nominated for the PREIS DER DEUTSCHEN SCHALLPLATTENKRITIK in the category GRENZGÄNGE. The “Showcase” invitation to the international jazz fair jazzahead! in Bremen last year also showed great international interest in my music. I was pleased to be hired by the renowned Bonn Jazz Festival and the Sendesaal Bremen for the “Women in Jazz” concert series in 2024.
