Projekt Beschreibung
In addition to being an internationally performing classical pianist, composer, and conductor, my interest in jazz music, which has influenced me since childhood, is evident in both my compositions and various projects. I enjoy create original ideas, blending elements of jazz music, virtuosity, rhythmic games with the traditional modes of my native Azerbaijan. Consequently, many of the pieces featured on my debut album embody these characteristics. Additionally, I love conducting orchestras while playing the piano. In this context, my first foray into non-classical music was performing Vagif Mustafazadeh's "Concerto in Jazz Style for Piano and String Orchestra", a piece by an artist I greatly admire. I am also planning more projects that incorporate jazz music in the future.
