Album: Insomnia

In my 2023 album "Insomnia", in addition to my own compositions such as "Mozart in Baku" (inspired by Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, 2. mov), "Apple Fantasy" (based on the iPhone ringtone), and "Piano Pieces No. 1 - The Loop, No. 2 - Improvvisamente, and No. 3 - Presto Diabolique," which prominently feature rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic jazz elements alongside improvisational qualities, the title piece "Insomnia" also showcases these traits. I typically start composing by improvising and then build upon it, often blending in Azerbaijani modes. Additionally, I both played-conducted Vagif Mustafazadeh's (creator of the Azerbaijani jazz-mugham genre and father of the world-famous Aziza Mustafazadeh) "Concerto in Jazz Style for Piano and Strings" with the Polish Camerata Chamber Orchestra.
