Album: Tales Of The Unknown

“Tales Of The Unknown” was recorded in the summer of 2023 at the RadioKulturhaus in Vienna and released in May 2024 under the “Alessa Records” label. This album contains nine, partly contrasting songs with which the ensemble wants to tell stories and present the diversity of the cast and the individual musicians. All compositions and arrangements were written by Valentin Goidinger, Alexander Matheis or Pia-Sophie Denz. The Tyrolean and the Upper Austrian met while studying at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz and are now going their own way with the “GMC” in search of a common sound. They are supported by a colorful ensemble whose composition lies somewhere between a rock band, string quartet and big band, which contributes to the unique sound of their debut album.
