Liveact: CROSSINGS

The ensemble, which consists of 11 musicians, was founded on the occasion of the premiere of the composition "Crossings" by saxophonist Edith Lettner. The composition, consisting of the two parts "The Atlantic Suite" and "The Mediterranean Suite" was sponsored by the City of Vienna and performed for the first time on February 5, 2024 at the sold-out Porgy & Bess (Vienna). Another musical highlight of the evening was an improvisation by the entire ensemble conducted by Alessandro Vicard. Many people in the audience as well as the musicians involved expressed the wish that the project should be continued, which is what we are working on.
